What's on
We meet at The Minerva Masonic Hall on Dagger Lane, on the third Tuesday of the month from September to June. Meetings start at seven. The Royal Arch Chapter and the Lodge of Instruction meet alongside the Craft lodge.
Charity
Charity is not a side activity we do to look good. It is built into how the Lodge runs, and every member contributes to it. What members give at meetings, and what our raffles and social evenings raise, goes out again: nationally through the Masonic Charitable Foundation, and locally where a meaningful amount to a small charity makes a visible difference. None of it pays for running the Lodge.

Our history
The Lodge was consecrated at the Central Masonic Hall in Park Street on 4 November 1929, when 147 brethren signed the attendance book. In May 1941 a high explosive bomb left that hall unfit for use and took the Lodge's chairs, columns and honours boards with it. The Minerva Lodge No. 250 offered its own hall on Dagger Lane, and we have met there ever since.
Our founder, W.Bro. Benno Pearlman, was Lord Mayor of Hull the year before, and called the city's Old Grammarian masons to the Guildhall to put the idea to them. Twenty-nine signed on as Founders. The school closed in 1988 and membership has been open to anyone since.
